At many events, sound levels can become very high, often exceeding 85 decibels, which can lead to prolonged exposure that may be harmful to hearing. Event organizers are responsible for managing noise-related risks in accordance with occupational safety requirements, public health guidelines, environmental regulations, and the conditions of event permits. In practice, this means that making hearing protection available and informing attendees about it are important elements of responsible event management.
